Jennifer Zarrilli

Jennifer Zarrilli

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Jennifer is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner and is responsible for making sure the company’s products meet the business needs of their customers. Throughout her career, Jennifer had a unique position that allowed her to sit between the IT services team and the business, where she learned to translate both sides needs’ and engineer the solution you see today.

With over thirty years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer or Controller in the financial services industry, she has overseen all aspects of the operations of an alternative assets company ranging in size from $500 million under management to over $25 billion. In her career, she has serviced thousands of diversified international investors, assisted in closing and structuring hundreds of transactions, and has worked with over a hundred investment professionals.

In her previous role at First Reserve, she served as their Chief Financial Officer, Managing Director, Chairman of the Valuation Committee, and was a member of the Board of Directors. Before her time at First Reserve, she was a Controller at Quadrant Management and started her career as an auditor at Ernst & Young. She has a Masters in Accounting from New York University.

Terry Longman

Terry Longman

Co-Founder & Director of Engineering

Terry is a Co-Founder and Director of Engineering and is responsible for architecture, design, and development of the GLM West Inc. Platform.

Terry has over twenty years of experience working for international investment banks, hedge funds, and private equity companies. He has architected, designed, and implemented several large-scale applications, from data-driven, high-frequency trading platforms to web-based form-driven business process systems. He has managed several teams supporting internal employee development, and he has managed projects of various scales, including moving legacy applications to the cloud and project managing system migrations impacting over 5000 users.

Terry spent the last ten years heading up a global development team, working out of London and New York implementing and maintaining secure, scalable, cloud-based custom software for asset managers. Prior to this role, he spent two years as Senior Engineer at SAC Capital, focusing on high-frequency trading application development. Before that, he held a six-year role as Senior Support Engineer and Project Manager at Lehman Brothers. He maintains his Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification

Gregg Westgate

Gregg Westgate

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Gregg is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner and is responsible for steering the vision of the company’s products and services to ensure the technical solution meets all the business needs and requirements

With over 20 years of experience as Chief Technology Officer in asset management, he has overseen the growth of several national and international startups in the energy industry, taking roles from building out strategy and technology to project management and infrastructure deployment. He has also led the technology development of a Private Equity firm, taking it from a 20-person company to hundreds of employees working out of multiple international offices. He has hands-on and mentor experience with all aspects of technology and software solutions in use by today’s asset managers.

Prior to joining GLM West, Gregg worked at First Reserve for eighteen years as the Chief Technology Officer and department head. His role required him to work on acquisitions, company downsizing, portfolio company guidance, and business support. Before working at First Reserve, he held a series of IT consulting roles for asset management firms. He has extensive experience working with compliance and legal teams as a technology liaison, and he maintains his Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification

Michael Modee

Michael Modèe

Co-Founder & Director of Technology

Michael is a Co-Founder and Director of Technology and is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing organizational information systems such as IT support, IT infrastructure, and security and compliance policies and procedures.

With over 20 years of IT Support, Network, and Security experience, he has designed and built data centers and managed and maintained existing services for several highly data-driven companies. He has also worked with various startups, designing, and implementing their backend infrastructure. Michael managed a 24x7 international customer support department where he followed and adhered to the ITIL framework and led by example with his customer-focused approach.

Michael has spent the last thirteen years as Manager of Network & Support Service at a Private Equity firm. Before that role, he was the server and network support for Environmental Data Resources. He maintains his Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification, and he is a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

Frederick Baker

Frederick Baker

Director of Sales and Marketing

Frederick, the latest to join the GLM West team, is the Director of Sales and Marketing. He’s critical to the marketing strategy and its execution, for the advisory, the technology implementation, the SaaS business as well as for GLM West’s new Compass platform - a configurable portal for managing data, documents and business processes both internally and externally, easily, securely and inexpensively.

Frederick has over twenty years of experience working in a sales and sales management roles for diverse firms including global banks, insurance firms, hedge funds, private equity, traditional Broker/Dealers, family offices and of course, within financial technology. One commonality across those disparate groups is his intense focus on the needs of the client, and the directly actionable plans for their success.

He's handled teams from three to one-hundred and three and put in place solid growth strategies on the local, regional and national levels.

He has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Miami, in Coral Gables, Florida where he was a Graduate Fellow.
